Syncrohaus Auto Repair
European Auto Repair in Portland, OR
About Syncrohaus Auto Repair
Located in the heart of Southeast Portland, Syncrohaus Auto Repair is a specialized automotive facility with a distinct passion for German engineering. Founded by mechanical engineer and intellectual property professional Mike Wallans, the shop brings a unique, analytical approach to vehicle maintenance that sets it apart from traditional repair centers. They pride themselves on a "no-frills, top-quality" philosophy, focusing on technical precision and long-term vehicle health over flashy waiting rooms. While their name pays homage to the legendary VW Syncro vans which they began importing in 2016 from Europe, their expertise extends far beyond vintage campers. Syncrohaus is a full-service destination for modern German vehicles, offering dealership-level diagnostics and premium fluid services—at far better value than the dealership provides. Their team is known for honest communication, efficient turnaround times, and the ability to solve complex mechanical puzzles that leave other shops scratching their heads.
